Westbrook Village is located in the heart of Peoria, is one of the more unique active adult golf communities in Arizona. The development was built in the early 1980s to mid-1990s around two 18-hole golf courses – the Lakes and the Vistas, each with a pro shop, practice facility, and restaurant.  If you’re an avid golfer, the benefits of owning a condo or townhome in a golf course community are obvious. Golf course view condos allow you to sit on your patio with a glass of lemonade while you enjoy the expanse of a perfectly manicured, lush lawn – right in your backyard. And you don’t have to do a thing to enjoy it!  If you're looking for that great view, certain condos and townhomes in Edgewater Park,  Oakbrook, and Fairway Ridge are right on the course  (see links to these communities below).  Watch the golfing action from your covered patio where the only thing in the way may be a mature tree or two. Not everyone wants to be on the course though - there’s always the danger of the errant golf ball.  There are plenty of condos and townhomes that are not on the course here.

Most golf communities, like Westbrook Village in Peoria, are located in developments that are regulated by homeowners’ associations. The condo or townhome community has a monthly fee, and the Westbrook Village association has a yearly fee for all of the wonderful amenities that residents can enjoy. And in Westbrook Village, many front yards are taken care of by the HOA,  which adds to the pristine look of this community.

When you are not golfing, you can play at the two community centers with large swimming pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, aerobics studio, fitness centers, sports courts. There are so many clubs, workshops, and activities, you’ll never be bored.

Golf communities aren’t for everyone. There’s always the danger of the errant golf ball, and you won’t enjoy the privacy of a fenced yard.

But, if you do like to golf or just like the look and feel of a golf course community, Westbrook Village condos and townhomes deserve a look.
