News > The Townhome Community Winner on Our Latest Tour

published on 2017-08-10

In case you haven't noticed, there are a bunch of compelling  developments out there beckoning new construction condo and townhome buyers.  Since condos are our business, our team heads out occassionally to make sure we keep up on the latest offerings, how they compare to each other, which one has the most compelling exterior and interior features.

And the Winner Is...

Biltmore Living!  These three-level townhomes captured our attention with open and spacious floorplans, plenty of light, and a very competitive price compared to other new townhomes out there.

The living space on the second floor has enough width to not be constricting, and all of the floorplans have a balcony on the front and back of the home, which serves to bring the light in from both directions as well as giving more outdoor access choices.  Even the master upstairs has its own balcony.  9 foot ceilings add to the spaciousness.

Granite counters and stainless appliances come standard.  So do iron railings on the stairway, which adds to the contemporary look of these townhomes.

But one thing you don't find in every smaller townhome community that really adds to the overall value is a pool.  Biltmore Living condos have both pool and spa, along with lounging space and a barbecue area, all in the center of the community so the walk is short.  This is a great common area to hang out with fellow residents or to grab a morning swim before the day begins.

But These Townhomes Might Not Be Perfect for Everyone

As much as Biltmore Living was our favorite on our tour,  it had one feature missing that other new construction townhomes had:  A private patio.  You may want a private space to sit outside or grill some dinner.  Or perhaps man's best friend wants some outdoor space where he can hang out.

Never fear, there are several great choices we viewed that have enough outdoor space to put a grill and a fountain, as well as some chairs and a small garden/grassy area.  The patios are just small enough that you aren't fretting over maintenance.   Harmony at Arcadia is one option that had spacious outdoor space.  Use your imagination to plan the perfect outdoor retreat!  There are a bunch of other compelling features that keep these townhomes in the running, like vaulted ceilings upstairs and a very spacious living room.
